The Challenge

Lead an interdisciplinary team of designers, marketers, and interactive designers to create a launch campaign for the esports team Cincinnati Fear sponsored by Gameday Sports. Deliverables was a fully complete brand strategy pitch including research, messaging, style through various social media content and event design. The goal was to grow an active community and keep them engaged.

Research

The driving force behind our campaign is built upon the fact that everyone from Cincinnati always asks where you’ve gone to high school as one of the first things anyone asks. We wanted to embody this loyalty through high school by playing off of the high school rivalry and spirit.

Our research consisted of reaching out to highschoolers, highschool esport coaches, looking into existing esports teams and how sports teams can launch.

Why Highschool?
